Health and Beauty Tips: Using Food Products!
Below is our list of
health and beauty tips
using food products right in your own kitchen, such as olive oil, egg white, avocados and more.

Avacodo:Take a ripe avocado, remove the pit and skin, and mash it into a bowl. Slather it all over your body, then rinse off. Your skin will be soooo soft-avocado is a natural moisturizer!Baking Soda: If you find yourself streaking after applying self-tanner, put some baking soda on a loofah, and scrub away the stripes. Lemon works too! Vinegar: For Shiny Hair: Option #1: Mix one part vinegar with 4 parts carbonated water, and soak dry hair. Leave on for 15 minutes before you shampoo to lock in shine and combat dullness.Option #2: Rinsing with a teaspoon of vinegar diluted in a glass of water can seal the cuticle. Egg whites: Instead of hitting the spa when your facial skin feels dull, try this: Carack open an egg in a bowl, separate the yolk, and use the egg hites to make a face mask. The proteins help to heal and restore skin’s moisture. Leave it on for 5 minutes, then rinse off.Honey: NYC makeup artist Kristofer Buckle combines 1 tsp honey with 1 tsp sugar to exfoliate the lips. He blends the 2 in his hand, then applies the mixture in a circular motion for 90 seconds.

Our last product in health and beauty tips is Olive Oil. This has so many beauty uses...why buy anything else?Olive Oil: Dry scalp? Once a week, massage it with olive oil for 5 minutes. If it’s flaky and itchy, crush an aspirin and mix it in-this adds salicylic acid to gently exfoliate.Night Cream: ½ cup olive oil, ¼ cup vinegar and ¼ cup water can be used as a night cream to make your skin glow. The olive oil softens and moisturizes while the vinegar lightens discolorations, kills bacteria and loosens dead skin cells. Splash water on your face before applying. Cleansing Cream: Use olive oil if your skin is dry Facial: Wet face thoroughly, then massage olive oil into your skin. Use about a half teaspoon of sugar and scrub your face with that, then wipe off gently with a warm, wet cloth until the sugar is all gone. Dry Feet: Use olive oil on feet with cotton socks. This helps to soften up your feet and it absorbs better than baby oil. Dry Elbows: Rub on some olive oil Add to bath: Add 2-3 tablespoons for a bath oil Hair Conditioner: Not only does it condition, but it also gets rid of the frizz! Put a small drop into your palm and rub both hands together. Then apply it to dry hair.
